In this assembly students are able to see that even small acts of courage can CHANGE EVERYTHING. Whether the focus is literacy, SEL, cultural understanding, creativity, or storytelling skills, Karla’s assemblies are designed to inspire joy and success in the lives of students.

She has taught and performed in schools, universities, festivals, libraries, and arts programs throughout Utah and beyond. Her storytelling style is warm, engaging, energetic, and deeply connected to children’s natural imagination and curiosity. She frequently uses original songs, djembe drum, guitar, autoharp, and washboard in participatory experiences with students.
